The trick to get the most out of your $ is to roll over RRs, paying the less possible out of your pocket. The only way to do it is thru "multiple transactions". Walgreens employees are used to it BUT, I recommend you to keep an eye on every single purchase... why? they are only human :)
Transaction #1
Colgate Pro-relief $4.99 - $3 RR - 1/$1.00 MC = out of pocket $3.99
I received $3.00 RR
Transaction #2
Huggies Slip-on $8.99 - $3.00 RR from Transaction #1 - 1/$3.00 OFF MC = out of pocket $2.99
Colgate Optic White $3.99 - 1/$1.50 OFF MC = out of pocket $2.49
I received $2.00 RR + $2.00
Transaction #3
2 DiGiorno pizzas $6.00 - 1/$1.00 OFF MC = $5.00
Zest soap 3 ct. $1.99 - 1/$1.00 OFF MC = $0.99
$5.99 - $4.00 RR from Transaction #2 = out of pocket $1.99
On this last transaction I was able to use two RRs ($2.00 each) due to I was purchasing 2 items.
Total retail price: $25.96
I paid $11.46
